New Possibilities in Urinary Stone Treatment
Efficiency and Safety Demonstrated by Clinical Experience with the Thulium Fiber Laser
Research conducted by our department has been published in the international journal “BMC Urology.”
A press release was also issued in Japan.
Introduction of the Latest Laser System (TFL)
Since December 2023, we have introduced Japan’s first Thulium Fiber Laser (TFL).
Compared with the conventional Holmium laser currently in use, TFL offers the following advantages:
- Stones can be fragmented into fine dust more quickly
- Reduced stone retropulsion improves surgical efficiency
