
Here you will find information on the procedures and process for hospitalization.
Admission Procedures
- On the day of admission, please bring your “Admission Reservation Form” and come to the 1st floor reception.
- Once the admission procedures are complete, a staff member will escort you to your room.
- If you were unable to complete admission procedures due to emergency hospitalization, please visit the 1st floor reception between 8:30 and 17:30 on weekdays (Monday to Friday).

Parking
Leaving vehicles or motorcycles in the parking lot during your hospital stay is not permitted.
Please note that the hospital accepts no responsibility for any accidents or theft that occur in the parking lot.
During Your Stay
What to Bring for Your Stay
- Pajamas, underwear, gown or cardigan, blanket
- Toiletries (washbasin, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, razor, brush, tissues, towels, bath towels, etc.)
- Indoor slippers (slip-on type recommended for elderly patients to prevent falls)
- Earphones
- Chopsticks, cups, spoons, etc. are provided by the hospital.
- Please label all personal belongings. The hospital accepts no responsibility for lost items.
- A paid hospitalization set is available. Please ask for details.
- Daily necessities are also available at the hospital shop.
Daily Life in the Ward
- Your attending physician and medical staff will explain your illness, tests, and treatment.
- To use the TV, washing machine, or refrigerator, please purchase a prepaid card from the vending machine. Refunds for unused prepaid card balance are available at the automated payment machine in front of the 1st floor cashier.
- Please use earphones when watching TV to avoid disturbing other patients.
- A public telephone is located on the 1st floor.
- Shower rooms are available on each floor. Please inform a nurse if you wish to use one.
- A mailbox is located in front of the main entrance.
- For photocopying, please ask at the 1st floor reception. (20 yen per copy, tax excluded)
- Please ask a nurse before using computers or other electronic devices.
- For safety reasons, scissors, fruit knives, and other sharp objects are not permitted. Please ask a nurse if you need assistance.
- Newspapers are available at the hospital shop.
Mobile Phones
Please use the “Mobile Phone Area” on each floor for phone calls.
Please set your mobile phone to silent/vibrate mode. (Available hours: 7:00–21:00)
Valuables
Patients are responsible for managing their own valuables. Please use the safety box provided in the bedside cabinet.
Always lock the safety box and take care to prevent theft or loss.
The hospital accepts no responsibility for theft or loss of valuables.
If you lose the safety box key, please inform a nurse immediately.
A replacement fee of 500 yen will be charged for lost keys.
Meals
- Meal times are approximately: Breakfast 7:30, Lunch 12:00, Dinner 18:00.
- Meal times or dietary restrictions may change depending on your treatment needs.
- All meals are prepared by the hospital. Special diets may be provided depending on your condition.
- To prevent food poisoning, please refrain from bringing in outside food.



Medication
Please bring all medications you are currently taking.
If you have a medication notebook (okusuri techo), please bring that as well.
During your stay, a pharmacist will explain your medications. Please feel free to ask any questions.
Ward & Room
- Nurses provide 24-hour rotating care.
- If you wish to have a family member accompany you (e.g. during end-of-life care), please inform a nurse.



Consultations
Please visit the Medical Affairs section on the 1st floor for consultations.
- Nursing care, welfare services, and medical safety consultations: A medical social worker (counselor) is available to assist with questions regarding insurance programs, nursing care insurance, social welfare systems, and more. Please feel free to consult us about any concerns or anxieties.
- Nursing and care consultations: We provide support for inpatients, outpatients, and their families to help ensure safe and comfortable living at home. Please feel free to consult us about nursing, care, or other concerns.
- Medical expense consultations: For questions about high-cost medical expense programs and other medical costs, please consult our administrative staff.
Visiting Other Medical Institutions During Hospitalization
Visiting another medical institution while hospitalized requires approval from your attending physician. Please inform a ward nurse. As a general rule, visits are only permitted when specialist care is required.
A referral letter written by your attending physician will also be required.
Family members picking up medications prescribed at other hospitals is subject to the same rules. If you run out of medication prescribed at another hospital, please consult a ward nurse.
For Family Members
- Family members are not permitted to collect medications from your regular clinic while you are hospitalized. If you have any concerns about medications, please speak to a pharmacist or nurse.
Emergency Evacuation
In the event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of doctors, nurses, and staff.
Elevators cannot be used during evacuation.
The emergency assembly point is the north parking lot (main entrance side) of the hospital.

Discharge
Your discharge date will be determined by your attending physician.
A discharge certificate will be provided to you.
Please keep it in a safe place, as it may be required if you are admitted to another hospital for the same condition within 3 months.

Hospitalization Costs & Payment
- An invoice will be provided on the day of discharge. Please settle your bill before leaving. (If discharge falls on a holiday, payment is due the day before.)
- Regular billing is processed at the end of each month. Invoices will be distributed on weekdays from the 10th of the following month. Please pay within one week.
- The 1st floor cashier window is open weekdays 9:00–18:00 and weekends/holidays 9:00–17:00.
- Please keep your receipts in a safe place, as they may be used for high-cost medical expense applications or tax filing. Receipts cannot be reissued.
- For medical expense consultations, please speak to the Medical Affairs section or a medical social worker.
